Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, I traded mountain views for monuments in 2007 to finish my MPH at George Washington University—and stayed to make public service my mission. From managing Ready.gov at FEMA to challenging injustice at the Pentagon, I’ve been in the room (and raising hell in it) for over a decade.

Breast cancer survivor. MRSA dodger. Professional form-filler-outer. I’m passionate about disability justice, civil rights, and holding the government to its own rules.
