I was first introduced to this public service announcement (PSA) at my “home” Metro stop, on the Shaw/Howard Metro Platform. The campaign, sponsored by DC’s Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, is located throughout various Metro stops in The District.

I want to introduce you to an organization called Mentoring Works2, Inc. that has been working in the Ward 1 neighborhood since 2006 providing youth one to one mentoring, after school tutoring/literacy and a 10 week summer camp. This is a group worth mentioning and they are currently looking for space to continue their good work.
